(Now, the poet Supreme Master Ching Hai Herself will give the gifts to the artists in today’s program.) In the Southern Aulacese (Vietnamese) accent, the word “gift” sounds similar to “flower.” I give you this gift, and people think it is a flower, so they bring more flowers. (The Poet, ladies and gentlemen, may I have the honor to recite the poem of composer Thu Hồ dedicated to the poet Supreme Master Ching Hai. The title is “The White Lily.”) “Living a worldly life in glory Happiness and prosperity But to be complacent is to fail: Who knows what the next life will be? She is the white lily, Skipping with joy through life’s many paths For her eye has opened wide to give And the world is intoxicated in bliss from Paradise. She travels the Glob Helping people in misery Touching countless hearts Reviving withered smiles. Humanity is ourselves And people in this world also Born into this life All are one family. Guiding others, offering herself Loving people, she’s determined to sacrifice Here she is, the white lily Like the light of sunrise shining brightly.” Thank father Thu Hồ. You must be a descending Saint too!

(The poet Supreme Master Ching Hai once again invites Phạm Duy to the stage.) One of our Aulacese (Vietnamese) Beethoven. All these people that you have seen today are the best of the Aulacese (Vietnamese) musical and literature sky. They are the paragons; they are the stars. They are the superior of all the talents, that’s condensed in their very delicate physical being. When I was young, I never dreamed I could even stand together with them one day like this. I thank all of you, the organizing team, and all the people who dedicated their time to organize tonight’s music program. And we are also very happy that the proceeds from today’s program will be sent to the Aulacese (Vietnamese) artists and their families in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), even if the artists have passed away. We’re hoping that this small gift will make the artists at home understand that the artists from abroad always remember their friends and colleagues, both past and present. And we always support each other. Although separated by distance, we are not separated in our hearts.
