Here’s Happy. Remember (Wow!) my adopted girl? I named her Happy because she’s always smiling. Remember how beautiful you are? This is the Australian Shepherd[-person]. Supposed to be very intelligent, most intelligent dog[-person] (breed). And this is a Rottweiler[-person]. Remember I told you, the number one bad dog[-person] (breed). But here, he’s a number one good dog[-person]. Yes, he’s very, very good. He loves ice cubes. They all do because they’re hot. So whenever I give ice cubes, they eat them like (vegan) bones. And one day, I gave them some [ice] cubes and they ate it all, and then Goody, this Rottweiler-person, kept coming and begging for more. I said, “No, enough, enough. Enough.” But then he’d go and get the empty bowl and bring it to me. “Please.” You know? [It’s] very cute. He’s very sweet. But he’s fierce about guarding the house or me. If it’s good people, he doesn’t mind. If he senses something, he barks and barks, and just his look is enough for everyone to run away. He’s a very good guard dog[-person]. […] Oh, you want to run them around? So you can have a look at them. You can touch them if you want, but they might give you all kinds of saliva. No, they don’t bite because they know you are good. Run-run-run, go-go-go. Move fast. That’s my entertainment program for you. Begin the better program. (Oh, no. You’re a tough act to follow, Master.) Thank you. Just because I couldn’t dance, I couldn’t sing, so this is just like a substitute program. (I’d like to welcome everyone, including our feathered and four-legged friends that came, made it for tonight’s celebration ‒ Christmas Celebration, 2001.) (I’m from the Tokyo Center.) (And I’m from the Virginia Center.) (Our first performance this evening brings together the saintly voices of practitioners worldwide in the [Supreme Master] Ching Hai Tabernacle Choir, for some joyous Christmas carols.)
