Every time you slip, I have to pull you up, even using my strength and discomfort for you. If I take one of your hands because you’re falling and pull you up from the ditch, that will not be comfortable for you. Would it? (No. No, Master.) It might hurt your hand and tire me out, but it’s necessary. (Yes. Understand, Master.) I’m forever in my work. (Yes, Master.) And those things are also my work. I cannot relax it.

There’s one time one of the hufas (guards) happened to be near me. And then he saw in my working office, there were three computers going on at the same time. (Wow.) One was Supreme Master TV broadcast, and the other one I probably opened to see the news, but I didn’t have time yet. So, I put on Supreme Master TV or some other program to watch. (Yes.) And another computer I was working on, also for Supreme Master Television, of course. (Yes, Master.) Sometimes I work two, three things at the same time. (Wow.) I jump, of course. I have two eyes. At least. And I have two hands. (Yes, Master.)

Because I have to work with different projects and shows at the same time, so maybe there were three televisions that all had my images or my video or my show on it, so the brother kind of felt maybe surprised, “Oh, Master’s on everywhere.” I don’t know what he meant, but, of course, I’m everywhere. Master is omnipresent, no? (Yes. Right.) Actually, I had to work in different shows, and different angles, but he did not know that. He feels like I’m just like all about myself. Absorbed all in myself. It’s not like that. (Understand. Yes, Master.)

Because, sometimes I can see the news, if it’s worthy or not to pay more attention, while I’m watching, and while I’m editing your program. (Yes, Master.) Because not all the lines in the program I have to correct or pay detailed attention to. (Yes, Master.) So, I have to watch both news and programs at the same time. But I don’t miss anything. You know that. (Yes. Right, Master.) You know that by all of my ranting. (Yes.) Ranting on the paper. And I hate that, because that will cost me a lot of time to write. Some corrections are terrible, I have to write a lot. And I don’t like that. (Understand.) I don’t write fast. And then also my eyes have to be far away from the screen, etc. It costs me some inconvenience. (Right.)

So, I don’t really like it when people make unnecessary mistakes. (Understand.) Or due to ego, just do it the way they want, and not the way the team would work. (Yes, Master.) Like, go out all by yourself and not working in the team spirit. I don’t like that. It wastes a lot of my time and energy, and tires me out.

But nevertheless, I have to work on two, three things at the same time. So, I save time. (Yes, Master.) I can. Not all of you can. But some can. (Yes.) Like, there was a story I told you before, a Zen Master was at the breakfast table. His students were eating with him. And one student was trying to do something else, like watching the news on the telephone. So, the Master sternly said, “When you eat breakfast, you eat breakfast.” Meaning, concentrate on one thing at a time. (Ah. Yes.) Next morning, the Master was eating breakfast and reading the newspaper at the same time. So, the disciple was looking at him. Didn’t dare say anything, but kept looking. And he knew it. So, he said, “When you eat breakfast and read the newspaper, then you eat breakfast AND read the newspaper.” If he can do two things at the same time, why not? But that’s the Master. (Yes.)

I used to do work like that before. I used to have to answer a lot of letters. (Right.) So, I had them read all three letters at the same time. (Wow.) And I heard them all. (Wow.) And I corrected them all or approved them all. (Wow.) Or some other documents. (Wow.) I had to. Sometimes I had to do that. Not fun, but I had to. Don’t try, don’t try. I will scold you more. You’d just get more scolding because you will make more mistakes. It’s funny, only some kinds of shows would show mistakes and the rest are just simple and common shows, or probably have not much stress. Anyway.

I did not scold you. I scold your ego. (Yes, Master. Understand, Master.) I am your good friend. (Yes.) I cannot let you slip down. (Yes, Master.) Every time you slip, I have to pull you up, even using my strength and discomfort for you. (Understand. Yes, Master.) My work might have many facets, but I don’t relax any of them. I cannot. (Understand, Master. Yes, Master.) Alright then. Anything else? No? (No, Master.)

Did any of you try the sandwiches that I recommended, like seaweed sandwich or banana wrap? You did not read them? (No, Master. We didn’t try it yet, Master.) You did not even read the tip of the day? (I remember seeing it now.) Just remember it, but didn’t try. They’re delicious. So, if you’re bored, you should try different things.

The other day, I remember, I gave a tip of the day. I remember some time ago I ate potatoes and kimchi. It was not like I intended to eat that, it’s just that it was in front of me and I didn’t have anything else. (Yes.) So, I combined them and it tasted so good, so I put it on the tip of the day. (Ah.) It will air maybe today, tomorrow, whenever. It’s really good. And I was so proud, so I gave it for the children to try, because if the children never ate kimchi before, they might feel it’s too sharp. (Right. Yes.) But the sweetness of the roasted, juicy sweet potatoes will even it out, dilute the sharpness. So, they can try it if they like to, with their tender tongue. (Yes.) It won’t be that hot then. (Right.)

And I was so proud. I thought, “Oh, man, when I’m hungry, I can invent things.” Like, a seaweed sandwich and banana wrap, whatever that I did before. It all comes out of hunger. So proud. Believe it or not, such a big deal. Inventions all just from hunger.

And then today, I called one of your Korean sisters. I asked her, “Did Korean people ever eat sweet potato with kimchi, or not?” (Yes.) I wanted to recommend it to her to eat. And she told me, “Yeah, they eat.”

Oh, man. So, my ego flattened down a little bit. Oh, I thought it’s my invention. And then, so I was kind of covering my embarrassment. I said, “Maybe I was Korean before, so I remember all this. (Yes.) So, that’s the proof, that even though I didn’t know that you guys eat it, I know how to. (Yes. That’s right. Exactly.) So, that’s the proof that I was your Korean compatriot before.” Just making light of it. I was so proud, I wanted to tell her to try it, and it’s delicious. And then she told me, “All the old people eat them.” It means it’s a tradition already. I said, “Oh, really? They eat them with kimchi?” So, she told me, “The Korean people, they eat kimchi with everything. With anything.” I said, “Yeah, yeah. That proves it.”

And then I asked her whether or not the word kimchi means, like golden vegetable. I thought, because the color of it, it looks like gold. And it tastes so good, so it seems like a precious vegetable. (Yes.)

So, I asked her if “kim” means gold. She said, “No, it just means salty.” Salted, or like a pickled vegetable.

Wow. It sounds nothing so romantic like the way I thought. I imagine many things so high, and then when it comes to reality it’s not like that. I’m a good imagination creator. (Yes.) Kim, like gold. I said to her, “If it’s not gold…” She told me it’s not gold, then I said, “Maybe ‘kim,’ because, most of the Korean names are Kim.” She said, “No, it’s not like that, either.”

(Oh, Master, about that, about the Korean last name Kim, it’s from “gold.” Master was right.) So, I’m right? (Yes.) Oh, man! Thank you! Thank you for rescuing my ego! Thank you so much! Told you, I was Korean. You are half Korean only, that’s why you did not know! (I did not know.) Yeah! (Sorry.)

She told me the name Kim is not gold either, it’s something from Chinese. So, I said, “OK, never mind.” Two times embarrassed. Like, kimchi is not a golden vegetable, and the Korean name Kim is not gold, either. She beat me twice! And now she rescued half of it. Well, at least better than nothing. I was so hurt, my ego felt so flattened today.

So, the Korean name Kim means “gold,” so then we can call the chairman Kim Jong Un – Gold Jong Un? (Yes, yes. Can do.) What does Jong Un mean also? Jong Un means “righteous grace.” Righteous grace. (Yes.) Wow, what a beautiful name! (Yes.) So, we can say Gold Righteous Grace? (Yes.) Pray that he lives up to his name. (Yes, yes.)

One time, one of the sisters when we had retreat, some Aulacese (Vietnamese) came, and one of them cooked for me. She cooked once every day some Aulacese (Vietnamese) stuff, because long time I don’t have, and they like to cook for me. And then, so, I asked the kitchen who is the one Aulacese (Vietnamese) cook in the kitchen? I wanted to thank her. And they said, “Oh, we don’t know, Master. Somebody named Nguyễn.” I said, “Nguyễn means nothing, most Aulacese (Vietnamese) are named Nguyễn. Just like in Korea, all are named Kim.” So, that’s interesting.

So, Mr. Golden Righteous Grace. Wow, what a beautiful name. (It is. Yes.) Very spiritual also. (Yes.) Very spiritual. Thank you then. Thank you for your new info.
