In the fifth book of the New Testament, it is recorded that Lord Jesus Christ said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) If performing acts of compassion make us happy, how does happiness translate into better health? In other words, when we are focused more on others than on ourselves, our life is rich in compassion and our wellness is enhanced. When the people around us are joyful and at ease, we become more cheerful ourselves.
