Vita TSYRULNIKOVA, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Business: Good day, esteemed Master Ching Hai. The academic community of the National University of Food Technologies sincerely thanks You for Your mission, for Your significant contribution to promoting the idea of humanism – towards one another, the animal world, and a respectful and responsible attitude towards the environment. The introduction of our National University of Food Technologies to Your organization took place in December 2024 during a meeting with the co-founders of the vegan café Loving Hut, who are sincerely and passionately promoting vegan ideas, creating a positive image of veganism in Ukraine.

Oleksandra NEMIRYCH, Dr. Sci., Head of the Department of Technology of Restaurant and Ayurvedic Products, (specializing in “Food Technology”): During their studies, our students attend numerous master classes organized for us by wonderful, brave, and kind-hearted individuals– volunteers of the international organization, the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association. Today, I would like to thank these individuals who organized for us a master class on making vegan sushi. Our students had the opportunity to prepare the sushi themselves, taste it, and come closer to this wonderful style of eating – veganism.

Iryna SYLKA, Associate Professor, specializing in “Technologies in the Restaurant Industry”: After tasting these vegan dishes and evaluating their quality, we realized how healthy and how nutritionally complete they are compared to the principles of healthy eating. We have a sufficient teaching base, a sufficient scientific and practical base that only requires some additions. For example, equipment for tofu production.

Nataliia YUSHCHENKO, Associate Professor, specializing in “Technology of Dietary and Ayurvedic Food Products”: We hope that we will be able to organize, on the basis of our university, a specialized educational and production laboratory for vegan nutrition, where our students will be trained in the practice of preparing tasty and healthy vegan dishes. Moreover, this laboratory can become a platform for conducting thematic workshops and the implementation of certificate programs for professionals in the restaurant industry.

And finally, Most Supreme Master Ching Hai, we would like to sincerely thank You and Your organization, the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association, for supporting Ukraine, for supporting our soldiers at the front line, for supporting the wounded in hospitals, for supporting animal shelters, for supporting all people who found themselves in hardship as a result of this inhumane war.
