An Evening Celebration in Honor of the Birthday of Shakyamuni Buddha (vegan), Part 1 of 6

In mid-May 1996, members of our Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association (all vegans) from around the world joyously gathered in the spiritually rich country of Cambodia for a dedicated seven-day meditation retreat to honor the birthday of the Worshipped World Honored One, Shakyamuni Buddha (vegan), Mother’s Day, and the birthday of our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan).

On the evening of May 17, 1996, in a sacred and uplifting atmosphere, a special celebration was held featuring inspiring multicultural songs and performances by members of our Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association. These performances created wonderful memories and joyful laughter for everyone in attendance, while also conveying heartfelt gratitude to the Worshipped World Honored One, Shakyamuni Buddha of the past and to the living Buddha of our time – Supreme Master Ching Hai, Who compassionately guides humanity in this Dharma-ending Age.
