Here is a recipe on how to make golden milk—a healthy, tasty and nutritious gut-friendly drink. You will need 470 milliliters (2 cups) of vegan milk, 40 grams (2 tablespoons) of maple syrup, 3 grams (1 teaspoon) of organic ground turmeric, 1.5 grams (½ teaspoon) of ground cinnamon, and 2.5 milliliters (½ teaspoon) of vanilla extract. You can also add ½ gram (¼ teaspoon) of ground ginger and a dash of ground black pepper if you wish. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for approximately 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Your hot golden milk will be ready to serve immediately, and you can store the remainder in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days for a refreshing cool treat too. This drink is not only delicious, it can lower inflammation and possibly help with an upset stomach.
