I was being shown which impact I would have in the world. That this was important. I’ve seen it as lights, many, many lights lit up everywhere as a result. German life coach and trauma expert Ursula Schulenburg shares how she died during childhood abuse, went to Heaven, and was shown her life’s mission.

Ursula grew up in an outwardly perfect family in Germany. From age three she suffered ongoing, brutal sexual and physical abuse from her father. By her mid-teens the violence escalated into life-threatening strangulation and suffocation “games” meant to break her spirit. During one such attack when she was about 16, her father placed a plastic bag over her head. She lost consciousness and left her body. I was suddenly aware of myself and awake. Not as I usually am during the day though, but I was rather awake in a sense of being conscious while being outside of my body. So I saw my father from above, how he was sitting on me. I watched him strangling me. Then at one point I realized, “I am free. So, I am free.” So I saw myself laying there, and to me it seemed like a pale, dead body, really whitish, greyish, without any life in it. And I perceived my father as this really dark entity that was sitting on top of me. They were energetic images, not only that I saw my physical body, but also this dead energy around it. When I saw how he started to revive me, I felt panic, to put it in words, and I thought, “I have to leave this place now.” So I walked away. This is how I would describe it at least, I walked into a grey mass, which also hurt by the way. It kind of felt like walking through barbed wire. But I didn’t care about it, since I thought, “Nothing can be worse than this.”

Ursula moved through a painful grey tunnel that gradually became lighter until she stood before an indescribable golden-white Light of pure love. It wasn’t really light as we know it, it was more of a feeling that I would describe as light. A very precious, appreciating, loving, welcoming and joyful kind of energy, which welcomed me, and I was at home and deeply loved. I was allowed to really bathe in that feeling and, well, fill myself up with it. The human language can’t express that properly. And then, it seemed as if something unbound from this Light and came towards me. I would describe it as an entity, but I can’t tell whether it was masculine or feminine. It had a face though and seemed very kind and clear, very lovingly and completely on my side. I felt that this benevolent being was deeply in favor of me, and it sees me in a way how I’ve never been seen before, as a lovable creation and an important creation. I received this impression, “This is valuable. Your life is valuable. You are valuable and I am going to help you now.” And this was an emotional language, not a verbal communication.

Ursula communicated to the being that she wanted to stay to escape her abusive situation on Earth. But the being urged her to return. This being looked at me and told me, or rather gave me this feeling, “It is important, your mission on Earth. It is of great value, so actually you should go down there.” In response, I kind of argued: “Well, I wish I could but I, I simply can’t deal with it anymore. I have no more strength left for this.” One of my biggest fears was still that I would close myself up and that [my father’s] negative energy that has been put upon me constantly, would eventually possess me at one point. That I, myself, would become dark and maybe even a perpetrator, too. Basically, I was afraid of not having enough strength in order to stay true to myself, and this is exactly what I communicated to this being. In response, the being stepped aside and showed Ursula her future. She saw that the darkness and abuse would continue for some time— but that everything would be far better, like Heaven on Earth, after she met her spiritual teacher. This being opened up even more space and then I could see that the circumstances would improve at one point. That I would meet a person who would help me to win myself back, to become healthy again. Someone who would support me and attend me and that eventually my life would become really beautiful. There was this intense feeling of enjoyment for life, a “yes” to life, some sort of blooming, and that this person would accompany me and I would experience all that.

The being then showed Ursula further into the future. I was being shown which impact I would have in the world. That this was important— like, extremely important. And that it would spread almost like a wildfire. I’ve seen it as lights, many, many lights lit up everywhere as a result. That this greyish field, which I perceived, would become brighter, really bright, and I was able to see that it would have to do with me. In this moment, I understood that I have to do it and I want to do it. Convinced, Ursula chose to return. The beings promised to accompany her. This being stood by my side, and there were several of these beings who were suddenly standing behind me, too. And they all signaled to me, “You are not going down alone. We are coming with you.” And the tall being who I originally talked to, transferred to me this huge rush of strength. Sometimes I like to describe it as a sword in one’s hands, to speak metaphorically. It was not only a loving energy, even though it was magnificent, it was also this combative energy: “We are with you. You won’t go down there all by yourself.”

Ursula re-entered her body filled with new strength and compassion even for her broken physical form. Though the abuse continued for some time, the near-death experience gave her the inner power to survive until she could finally escape. Years later, she met her spiritual teacher, then became a renowned healer, author, and lecturer helping thousands of trauma survivors—just as the loving being had shown. Basically, that was exactly the path that has been predicted to you. Exactly. And the reason why I am so convinced of it is because I know that it wasn’t just dedicated to me. That this love and support— this, “You are strong and beautiful and unique and precious”— that the feeling which I got from it is actually meant for everyone. I am truly convinced of that. And that every human being has this incredibly important mission: To bring that which is one’s own core or essence into the world. (Thanatos TV EN)
