These children aren’t being difficult, they’re expressing their own views and emotions. Take time to listen calmly, acknowledge their feelings, and understand the root of their resistance. Instead of constant prohibitions, introduce clear, simple rules that help them feel secure while knowing their limits. Show them where they can decide for themselves, what requires discussion, and what’s non-negotiable. Stubborn children don’t need force, they need connection and clarity. Parents and children are mirrors to one another, growing and learning together. In that shared journey, both sides discover love, strength, and the best versions of themselves.
