Ultimately, the solution is simple. Our parents or grandparents weren’t buying all these products, and they lived a much simpler life, which was in tune with seasons, with the environment. And that’s what we need to get back to if we want to try to preserve a little bit of our resources. Beyond the question of recycling, there is also the cost of energy that must be used. It is up to us as consumers to make choices that are responsible, by focusing on buying products that are more environmentally friendly. This message of conservation and the urgent need to act for the preservation of our planet has been echoed time and again by Supreme Master Ching Hai.
