On today’s show, we will continue discovering more about the teachings of Quetzalcóatl (vegetarian), who invites us to leave behind spiritual sleep, embrace life as a journey of transformation.
3- ABOUT COMMUNITIES (continuation)
“And when someone comes towards you, unable to understand because of his level, and asks you: What creed do you belong to? Tell them: My only creed is Love towards all beings of creation, and my only concern is the conscious detachment from all things of this world. Flee then, from names and concepts, flee from all that which may create hierarchy within you. The one who forgets more about himself will set an example. Follow him.
And one of them said: Well, I belong to a community, and we are all very happy in it. And He answered: Is your inner happiness so weak that you must unite yourself to others, so that they may create around you the environment to cause you to flower? What will happen to you when rain comes, breaking the crystals of that greenhouse? Blessed are the seeds which to be sown need not the hand of the farmer, but instead have the wind, and don't have the water from the river at their feet, but instead the rain to quench their thirst, and are not protected by stones or ramparts, but instead are dressed with inner strength, because they are the ones which feed the world and mankind.
And another asked Him: How can we change our environment? And He answered: Ignorant are those leaves which seeing their sisters, the other leaves, say: We must change them, because they dance in the wind in a different way than we do, and they look at the Sun in a different way than we do. Don't be yourselves like those leaves, because you will enter into blind suffering. Say like the flowers say: Let us unite our perfumes and pin it to the body of air, to put our part of happiness in the Garden of Our Mutual Creator God.
And again He said: Changing yourself within that environment, you will be changing it more than if you go out and try to change one hundred of your brothers. Learn to be yourselves where the hand of life has put you, because that place and its circumstances are what you must transcend. We belong to The Truth. We live a simple life in any place. In peace, because by having inner peace, we will have everything else, and we give “Light and life” because that is what we have.”
4- THE TIME HAS COME
“Many of those who were at the marketplace left everything and went after Him to a square, because the same as their bodies needed fruit from the Earth to support them. So their spirit needed to listen to His voice and become filled with His teachings. And once they were there, they sat down under the trees to listen to Him.
And Quetzalcoatl was talking to them in this way: Brothers who live in the country of dreams, and have your bodies as frontiers, and your imagination as doors. Day by day, when stretching out, you continue in the course that becomes calm during the night, and don't ask the why of your days and nights. You go without walking, and rest without keeping vigil. And within you everything is a continuous searching for yourselves among the humid and narrow streets of this existence. Few of you have stopped, and fewer even have asked anything of yourselves. And even less are those who have reached their Inner Flame, sublimating it like a torch on the lookout of your heads. It has become more comfortable for your hearts to wake up each day with a greater blindness. And in this way, stumbling, you go on making your world. And stumbling, you make principles and laws to keep it. And stumbling, you build ramparts in order to be able to sleep reassured.
When someone comes and says to you: “Brother, this is the time. Stand up and come to Life”, you take stones and throw him out, and protest because he has driven you for a moment out of the drowsiness of your dream, when someone touches the external cover of your seed and says to it: sister, the time has come, the land is prepared and is fertile, the time has come for you to sacrifice so that someday you may turn into a leafy tree where the birds from the sky can make their nests, and where animals may come to take shade. You answer: Let me sleep like a seed and go away. And you prefer to remain on the granary of dreams instead of going to the lands of Life.
I have not come to but to touch your seeds, and to tell you that the fields are prepared, and the land is ready for you to flourish. I have not come but to tell you that in the daily sacrifice of hours and minutes is the slow elevation of the stem towards the surface. And I truly tell you that someday you will be the trees of Paradise.
What a happy day, the day in which I met the Light, How sweet and powerful its Voice, the One which prompted me to grow up.”
