Doctors hail roasted black bean tea as a traditional remedy that supports joint health, sleep, and overall vitality— especially for older adults. Black beans are rich in anthocyanins, plant-based compounds that reduce inflammation, protect cells, and may ease arthritis and slow aging. Their magnesium and calcium relax muscles, strengthen bones, and support better sleep. To make the tea, select green-hearted black beans, roast gently for 10–12 minutes until fragrant and crackling, then steep 20–25 grams in 400–500 milliliters of boiling water for 20–30 minutes. Drink warm 1–2 hours before bed, consistently, for best results (Tuấn Thầy Thuốc)

American paranormal investigator, TV producer, and numerologist Peter Anthony shares his near-death experience that made him see ghosts are real.
In 1987, at his birthday party, Peter fell suddenly ill— his intestine had burst from an untreated condition. He collapsed at home and was rushed to the hospital, but due to AIDS [acquired immune deficiency syndrome] stigma at the time, staff refused to admit him. A nurse eventually intervened and got him into the emergency room, but he had lost so much blood by then that they couldn’t place an IV [intravenous tube] as his veins kept bursting.
While fading in and out on the operating table, Peter saw a spinning tunnel like a bullseye. As his body went unconscious, he found himself above the scene in spirit form, watching the doctors work on him. He felt a pull from his solar plexus and was drawn into the tunnel, where deceased relatives and his third-grade teacher— appearing as a radiant younger version of herself— greeted him. As he spun through the tunnel, he saw repeating numbers and complex mathematical and quantum equations, instantly understanding their meaning despite having been a right-brained artist in life.
Peter emerged sitting in a vast, indescribable tree in a stratosphere and was met by an Ascended Master, angel, or advanced Being. Atheist at the time, he never believed before in angels, God, or Lord Jesus (vegetarian); life had been just live, work, family, home, then die. There, sitting on the tree, Peter underwent a panoramic life review— from birth to death— where every moment, conversation, and action was recorded simultaneously in a video matrix.
He relived high school on his birthday, sharing a locker with his close sister amid his football buddies. She said, “Aren’t you gonna say how much you love me and how much you care for me? I’m your best friend.” Embarrassed in front of his friends, he thought, “Just go away, my friends are watching,” and walked away without responding. That night, she was killed by a drunk driver. Both he and his sister had been left in an orphanage, making their bond profound; losing her was tough. There was no judgment from the angel— just awareness, kindness, compassion, and understanding for him— but in his heart, he felt, “You could have done better, Peter.” These moments showed where he could have shined, helped someone, expressed love—every recorded moment mattered, even if no one seemed watching. He hadn’t murdered, robbed, or been violent, but saw missed opportunities to help.
Another scene showed Peter littering a gum wrapper off a bridge. He watched its journey through rivers, oil refineries, and into polluted waters. Forward in time, he saw children swimming and dying from it; doctors were clueless, but oil companies and pharmaceuticals knew and turned away. He realized then: one wrapper affects everyone. This made Peter environmentally aware upon return, striving for positive impact.
Peter then entered a “cleansing station”— also known as Bardo, purgatory, or limbo— and saw Earth from a galactic perspective. With a zoom lens, he zeroed into world events: dolphin-people massacres, global power abuses, war, and environmental damage— not with condemnation, but with the question: What can I contribute to make it better?
Peter conversed with a vast golden Energy he felt was God— not a bearded figure, but radiant fragments of Light that filled him with indescribable love. Asked if he wanted to return, Peter glanced back at the Earth. He saw both humanity’s cruelty and its kindness— teachers, firefighters, strangers helping one another—and glimpses of his own future: speaking publicly, writing books about his near-death experience, recovering over two years, and even a suicide attempt. Peter agreed to return. He re-entered his body through a sphere of light and awoke after three-and- a-half weeks, now surrounded by Christmas decorations.
Recovery was lonely— friends vanished and family distanced themselves. But Peter’s perception had changed. He saw spirits in the hospital—patients, doctors, nurses who had died—walking alongside the living. He began communicating with ghosts intuitively. His sister, who died on his birthday, often appeared encased in blue light at his bedside, speaking softly to his heart.
Drawn to the numbers he’d seen during his near-death experience, Peter immersed himself in numerology and astrology, helping clients for free. One day, he got a call from a homicide detective, asking for help on a case. At the crime scene, spirits showed up, revealing the “victim” was the serial killer. Peter solved it, leading him to join the TV series “Sightings” as the country’s youngest paranormal investigator. He traveled the US working on unsolved murders, haunted caves, cemeteries, and houses. To this day, he doesn’t know how he knows things: At crime scenes, images just appear. For real cases, ghosts show up the night before, at around 3 or 3:15 am.
Once, at a Catholic church, the show’s production crew and celebrity hosts were laughing about the ghosts and murder; no one believed it. But Peter saw a ghostly nun with her hands crossed, shaking her head, as well as a priest and child who died there. There’s no respect sometimes for the other side.
Peter has become a “ghost whisperer.” He says that if you’re filming and a ghost appears behind someone, your left brain says it’s not real, but your right brain says it is. He teaches people to be still and quiet— everyone has intuition, but we deny it because we were taught “this world is all that’s real.”
Peter’s core message is that love, kindness, and compassion are what really matter. On the other side, there’s no gay, black, Muslim, Christian, wealthy, or poor—just spirit and the essence of love. People who abuse power divide us with those categories; they’re not really who we are. Peter says we’re here to help, not destroy or be angry. His daily mantra is, “How can I contribute kindness to humanity? How can I serve Earth?” No asking for money or jobs—just service. He believes this selfless compassion is the foundation of a happy life (Anthony Chene production)
