With college students’ help stray dog-person saves kitten in China.

A dog-citizen named “Hui Hui” suddenly kept barking one night at China’s Fuzhou University. Students nearby checked and saw that Hui Hui had been digging the soil under some stone slabs even though its mouth and front paws were injured and bleeding. The students decided to help, found tools, plastic bags, and gloves, and worked together to dig. Before long, they heard meowing, and found that a kitten was trapped under the slabs. Fortunately, after being sent to a veterinary clinic, the dog- and cat-folk recovered and were adopted by caring people. The incident became popular on social media, with millions of people liking the dog-hero for its compassionate action. Bravo, Hui Hui and students, for your efforts to save the kitten.
