I love sprucing up a meal with yummy home-grown herbs and so I have a neat herb planting tip for you today. Nursery store basil plants tend not to last long because the seedlings are packed into a small pot, restricting the space they have to grow. In this case, separate the seedlings from the pot and transplant them, either individually or together, into a bigger pot. Keep the roots damp and seedlings away from direct sunlight to prevent the leaves from burning or it going into transplant shock.
