In efforts to contain COVID-19, WFP implemented the transfer of funds through cashless methods to individuals in camps, so that people can buy food in a “contactless” manner. WFP and its partners continue to hold awareness campaigns on safety measures during the pandemic, and later will start projects to help people secure employment again. Our earnest gratefulness, Switzerland and World Food Programme, for your generosity and dedicated work. May our Iraqi and Syrian brothers and sisters be safe and prosper, in the loving care of Heaven.Asian Development Bank (ADB) assists Mongolia in modernizing food production.Mongolia will update its vegetable production and irrigation networks with a US$40 million loan from the ADB and a US$2 million grant from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction. Furthermore, 8,000 hectares of land will receive improved irrigation networks along with other farming related infrastructure that will help to protect the farms from a changing climate. My secret is a glorious vegan lifestyle! Here’s an easy way to prevent caps on adhesives or glues, such as rubber cement and super glue, from getting stuck on the tube or container. All you need to do is apply a small amount of petroleum jelly onto the tube or lid’s threads to accomplish this goal. Then, the next time you need to use your glue, you can easily take off the cap and start working, saving you time and keeping you from making a sticky mess. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now, the weather around the world.Denmark to create green energy islands. The Danish government has announced a plan to create two large energy islands, one in the North Sea and the other in the Baltic Sea, to help the nation move closer towards its goal of being carbon neutral. The island in the North Sea will be artificial, and host two gigawatts of wind turbines with the potential to expand to 10 gigawatts, while Bornholm Island in the Baltic Sea will also host two gigawatts of wind power. The total energy produced will be more than twice the nation’s present offshore wind capacity, and greater than the country’s annual electricity consumption. Excess energy will be exported to nearby countries. Such an amazing plan, Denmark. May your impressive project be a model for other nations to quickly shift to green power, in Celestial glory.United Kingdom prohibits menthol and flavored cigarettes. The UK has outlawed the production, supply and sale of menthol and flavored cigarettes in a move to safeguard young people from becoming addicted to smoking. The ban is in response to the European Union’s Tobacco Product Directive laws to be implemented across the continent. It is widely believed that menthol and flavored cigarettes are more appealing to vulnerable youths, as it masks the flavor of the smoke and relaxes the airways. According to Cancer Research UK, smoking causes the demise of an estimated 100,000 people every year in the UK, while two-thirds of smokers begin before the age of 18. Research conducted by sociologist Dr. David Melamed and his colleagues at The Ohio State University in the United States found that people choose to help each other, no matter what motivations may influence them. Scientists have previously determined several motivators for generosity, such as returning someone’s act of kindness, giving to someone who was nice to a third person, and paying a kind act received forward to someone else. In this online study involving more than 700 participants, these multiple motivators were combined for the first time, to mimic complex real-life scenarios. Scientists were pleased to find that people still wanted to help others, even at a monetary cost to themselves. Thank you for your valuable findings, Dr. Melamed and colleagues. May humanity’s selfless, kind nature prevail evermore, in God’s goodness.Up next on Noteworthy News, Romanian city adopts green energy bus. Finley’s journey was inspired after meeting Ryan and reading a book about the plight of children in other countries without easy access to water. My power comes from plants! I have an animal tip for you. You can determine whether your dog is gaining weight just by looking at their shape. You can easily give a body conditioning exam for your dog at home by performing the following. Observe your dog from the side and on top. They should have a tucked in waist. Feel underneath your dog’s belly, it shouldn’t bulge out. Feel the span of their back and sides; the spine, ribs and hips shouldn’t poke out, but they should be easily felt. Also be sure to feel the area where your dog’s tail attaches to their body. There should not be excessive fat here. Remember to take regular trips to your vet to make sure your loyal pal is in tip top shape. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet, thus save the world! And, thank you for your attention. Founder and co-director of the Self-Assembly Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, Professor Skylar Tibbits, and his colleagues have been investigating how to create sandbars simply by placing bags of sand underwater in certain positions and allowing the ocean waves to move the sand so that it accumulates. Conducting a field experiment in the Maldives with Invena, an eco-organization based in the island nation, the team began a multi-year study of the developing sand formations through satellite imagery and ocean depth measurements. This could prove to be an effective strategy to preserve coastal settlements and at-risk island nations from rising sea levels due to climate change. Great work, Professor Skylar Tibbits, Self-Assembly Lab team, as well as Invena. We wish you continued success with your beneficial research. May the Divine bless such constructive solutions that work in harmony with nature.Incarcerated individuals train assistance dogs in Australia. Speaking of the program, which has proven successful at two other correctional institutes, PCCC Acting Superintendent David Gordon shared, “It provides [inmates] with valuable skills, self-worth, confidence and the clear evidence of what can be achieved by investing in others less fortunate.” Our applause, Smart Pups, Palen Creek Correctional Centre, dedicated trainers and sweet dogs for working together to make this service available. Twenty-three rare Royal Turtles hatched this year on the sandy banks of the Sre Ambel River in Cambodia’s Koh Kong Province – more than the total number of hatchlings in the past three years. A halt on sand-dredging has helped preserve the habitat of the turtles, who were once thought to be extinct. Conservationists have also been working with community members, who formed teams to protect the turtle nests. The adorable babies will continue to be looked after at a conservation center until they are ready to be released to the wild. The caring efforts are being funded by the European Union, Wildlife Reserves Singapore, United States Forest Service, and US-based non-profits Rainforest Trust and Turtle Survival Alliance. There are no other eateries along the stretch of 450 kilometers in the remote tribal region. During the lockdown, 17 cooks and helpers assisted to prepare and serve vegetarian food to the grateful people who ate there or took a bag of food away. In addition, about 250 dogs as well as cats, cows and other animals in the area were fed every day. When asked why he stays in this remote region to do this job, he stated “It’s the ‘marzi’ (will) of Wahe Guru... Through anti-poaching collaborations with the police, APWG rescues 20 to 40 injured pangolins every year, who undergo rehabilitation at the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. For two to three weeks before their release, recovered pangolins get daily walks of three to five hours in the preserve to familiarize themselves with their new habitat. After returning the shy mammals to the wild, APWG continues to monitor their health daily and then twice per week for two to three months. While five of the seven pangolins have survived nine months since their release, it is hoped that the reintroduction initiative can revive the vulnerable species’ population in the region. The International Union for Conservation of Nature classifies six out of the eight pangolin species as “endangered” or “critically endangered.” Our warm gratitude, African Pangolin Working Group, Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital and all involved in saving cherished pangolins. In God’s mercy, may we safeguard all living beings who immeasurably bless and enrich our world. A quarantine has been mandated for all 6,500 of the slaughterhouse’s workers as well as those they have interacted with. Sadly, much of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef has been bleached white from rising sea temperatures and thus unable to support its biodiverse inhabitants. However, the heat-tolerant microalgae were found to communicate with the coral organisms and thus improve the coral’s own heat resilience. Our accolades, CSIRO scientists, for finding a way to save our Earth’s magnificent coral reefs to some extent. In the wisdom of the Providence, may we urgently address climate change and thus allow all precious ocean beings to continue their vital planetary roles.Russian taxi driver helps save abducted lady. While on his way to pick up a passenger, taxi driver Dmitry Filin from Moscow, Russia, began receiving urgent messages asking for help from a woman through Yandex.Taxi, the app she had used to order the cab ride. When Mr. Filin arrived at the pickup location and did not see the woman there, he started communicating with her to get more details and immediately called the police. Although the lady did not know her location, emergency services were able to access the GPS on her phone to rescue her and detain her abductors. COVID-19 Transmitted through the Air, July 2, 2020

00:05:01

COVID-19 Transmitted through the Air, July 2, 2020

Increasing evidence of airborne transmission of the coronavirus acknowledged by World Health Organization (WHO). At a media briefing on July 7, 2020 in Geneva, Switzerland, WHO Technical Lead for Infection Prevention and Control, Professor Benedetta Allegranzi, confirmed that there is rising evidence of airborne transmission of Covid-19 virus, and that the WHO will continue to gather research on all modes of transmission. This announcement follows a letter endorsed by 239 scientists from 32 countries calling on national and international bodies to recognize the airborne spread of coronavirus and to step up current protective measures, including providing air ventilation and filtration as well as avoidance of overcrowding in public. It was previously thought that larger droplets of the virus fall to the ground too quickly for airborne transmission. But evidence has shown that lighter infected microdroplets emitted from talking, coughing, and even exhaling can remain in the air for hours and travel farther than the two-meter social distancing recommendation, thus putting more people at risk of inhaling them and contracting the disease. Moreover, besides the immensely painful and distressing symptoms suffered by victims for sometimes months, a new British study has found that even recovering or mild-case patients can get grave, even life-threatening brain disorders, such as brain inflammation, stroke, delirium and nerve damage.Deeply concerned for the public safety, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai had warned in advance earlier, repeatedly during CONFERENCES ON MARCH 30, APRIL 29, AND ON MAY 25, 2020 that the virus is spread through the air also, and people need to take serious precautions. Following is an excerpt from May 25: Even if that person is not sick or he doesn’t know he’s sick yet, he still has it. (Yes, Master.) And then it’s still in the air. Because a lot of people who don’t know they’re sick, or sick but walking around somewhere or in a supermarket or something like that, being macho, don’t wear a mask or flouting the emergency COVID curfew, and they breathe and they cough and they talk, and it’s still in the air, then you will get it if you are near or next to. After, even if nobody’s there anymore, you still get it. So have to wear a mask and protective (gear) outside your room. Wash your hands, your body, all the time, after you’ve been out. (Thank You for the reminder, Master.)You have to be serious. Don’t be macho, because you don’t know what it’s like when you are sick with this. It tortures you. Some feel like burning fire in their body, in their blood. Some have no air, they cannot breathe. Some children are sick with a strange disease and some people got affected in different ways. This COVID-19 infection is like none other. It has quite a variety of symptoms all related to it, and even no symptoms at all. Very scary one for children and adults alike. Even healthy, young adults also. So, be serious.Furthermore, even in private correspondence to disciples, Master requested the participants to sit / be AT LEAST 3 METERS away from each other during the initiation ceremony, though the pandemic was already declared gone in that country. And by Her instruction: would-be initiates from other countries are still not allowed to come, in order to protect the people of the country where the initiation will take place, from the risk of recurring pandemic. “…For the initiation, all must separate at least 3 meters apart from each other. Should be outdoor, fresh air. Better do not chat closed up. Wear mask and face shield. …” Excerpt from Supreme Master Ching Hai’s note sent to… forwarding to different Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association Centers. July 2nd, 2020.Our deepest gratitude to our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai for Her benevolent warnings to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and safeguard humanity. Also, our sincere appreciation to all scientists, governments and organizations working to stop the disease. May we take all precautions to protect ourselves and others, and we earnestly pray that the world adopt the compassionate vegan diet now to end the suffering of all co-inhabitants, in Heaven’s boundless mercy. For the full broadcast of the above-mentioned conference with Supreme Master Ching Hai, titled “Be Serious and Protect Yourself by All Means,” log on to SupremeMasterTV.com and search: “Be Serious”

Students will have the opportunity to work towards achieving bachelor’s and master’s degrees at universities and colleges in Jordan, as well as have the choice of attending programs including teacher training, vocational education, and summer courses for high school students, among others. The initiative, which also envisions promoting dialogue and connection between Syrian refugees and Jordanian host communities, is backed by nine Jordanian and international educational institutions, including the German Jordanian University at the helm of the project. The European Union is a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate. Our sincere appreciation, European Union and all involved. The ADB has allocated US$50 million, half as a loan and the remainder in the form of a grant, to help Kyrgyzstan’s government to control the pandemic, enhance social protection for vulnerable citizens, and provide fiscal stimulation to preserve small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as the economy’s productiveness. Focus will also be on enhancing the country’s ability to respond to future emergency situations. The government has identified 1.8 million people across the country as being particularly susceptible to the pandemic, a substantial proportion of whom are women. Social safeguarding measures to benefit girls and women will be implemented, including supporting SMEs employing a significant number of women and providing food aid to households headed by women. Here is a safety tip for you. To prevent your children from slipping during bathing or showering, you can place non-slip bathmats or non-slip stickers in the bathtub or shower. Many of these mats are self-adhesive or adhere to the floor through suction cups to reduce slippage. In addition, you can also put a sponge or a thick towel around the faucet to prevent your child from getting hurt if he or she bumps into it. Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world!Record set for renewable power production in the United States. From March 25, 2020, onward for 40 days straight, sustainable power from solar, wind and hydropower in the US generated more electricity than coal. In 2019, there were only 38 days in the entire year when renewables outpowered coal, and in the month of April of last year, 19 such days. The unprecedented generation was due to multiple factors including the increased renewable capacity that has been installed, coal’s high prices relative to other sources, decreased demand due to COVID-19, and more. Our salute, United States, for your fast transition to renewable energy production. May your grand nation continue its rapid conversion to eco-practices as your industries adopt green power and your citizens embrace the vegan diet.Hungarian startup creates bacterial mix to digest plastic. Poliloop has developed a mix of four bacteria that can digest plastic, including non-recyclable varieties. The company’s website states: “Our mission is to provide an eco-friendly and scalable answer to the crisis, so that plastic will no longer be a threat to the habitants of the earth.” Their invention was recognized as Startup of the Year in the recent sixth PowerUp! competition sponsored by sustainable energy innovation supporter InnoEnergy, which included 425 businesses in 24 countries from Central and Eastern Europe. Congratulations on your recognition, Poliloop, and thank you for helping to find a way to clean and restore our beautiful planet. May your discovery soon lead the way to the recycling of all plastics, as every nation and business quickly moves closer to a circular economy.Bollywood actor proves he is a real hero. Popular Indian actor Sonu Sood hired buses and arranged the necessary permits that enabled at least 57,000 migrant workers to be transported back to their homes after they became jobless and stranded in Mumbai, due to the COVID-19 lockdown in India. Mr. Sood explained, “Migrant workers have helped build our roads, homes and offices. We cannot stand and watch them be homeless.” In addition, Mr. Sood and his team currently provide food and water to at least 45,000 people daily. The caring actor has also opened his family-owned Shakti Sagar Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai to shelter doctors and frontline health staff, as well as set up a toll-free number for people needing help. Speaking of his efforts, Mr. Sood said, “God is making it happen, and we have been chosen as tools. There are miles to go and the journey will continue.” May the Divine bless you, Sonu Sood. Count us among your many fans! Your love in action gives inspiration for a Heaven on Earth, in Celestial jubilation. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Sonu Sood, with much love, high esteem and gratitude for your generous heart, in Divine love. We’ll return with more praiseworthy news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Inspirational News for a Beautiful World.Study shows vegan protein more effective at building muscle. A new study by the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom has revealed that mycoprotein, a type of vegan protein derived from fungus, is two times more effective at building muscle than milk protein. The study looked at 20 people who go to the gym; those who took milk protein increased muscle growth by 60%, whereas those taking mycoprotein achieved more than double this figure. Mycoprotein is high in protein and also fiber, and is commonly found in vegan meat products from the veg Quorn company. Many thanks, University of Exeter, for highlighting the immense muscle growing capabilities of mycoprotein. In Heaven’s benevolence, may your research help propel vegan proteins to be the number one choice for all athletes and others wishing to become stronger and healthier.Specially trained dogs safeguard wildlife in South Africa. The Southern African Wildlife College patrol has seen a success rate of 68% to help them protect wildlife from poachers when using the trained dogs, compared to between three and five percent without the canines. The reason for the great success is due to the dogs’ exceptional smelling and hearing abilities, as well as their speed. So far, thanks to the new helpers, 45 rhinos have been saved since the program began in February 2018. Our heartfelt thank you and praises, Southern African Wildlife College patrol and your heroic canine team. May your presence in South Africa soon help to completely stop poaching so all animals may inhabit their rightful homes in peace, in God’s love. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gladly present the Shining World Hero Award to the Southern African Wildlife College canine patrol, plus a loving gift of US$10,000 for vegan treats for the courageous dogs, with lots of love, praises and high fives. Supreme Master Ching Hai's explanation of the Surangama Sutra is so concise, understandable and fascinating! This is a very precious and rare interpretation in our world. Look no further; become vegan! I have a tip for your elderly loved one today. Especially during this time of social distancing, you can help protect the elderly’s overall health by encouraging them to stay physically active inside the home. They can do some gentle stretching while sitting or lying down, and walk around the room or hallways. Doing small housework is another great way to keep the blood flowing in between long periods of sitting down. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for tuning in, and now for the weather around the globe.Finland moves towards carbon neutrality with wind power generation. The government-owned company Metsähallitus, which administers over 12 million hectares of state land and water areas, will lease some of the areas for the construction of approximately 80 turbines over the next few years. The new projects will provide additional tax revenue to municipalities and help stimulate the economy. With an ambitious goal to be carbon neutral by 2035, the country will also work to increase carbon sinks and investigate the potential of having more wind turbines based in the sea. Way to go and best wishes, Finland, on your big expansion into renewable energy. In God’s blessings, may your considerate people rejoice as they head towards becoming one of the world’s first carbon neutral nations.Paris, France to create a network of cycleways. To address its citizens’ needs as the COVID-19 lockdown is eased in the country, €300 million has been invested to construct 650 kilometers of both temporary and permanent cycleways throughout the city. A web of nine routes connecting the center of Paris with major suburbs will be constructed during the first stage of the project, which will prioritize short-term bike lanes to relieve the busiest public transport lines. The paths will promote physical exercise, cleaner air, and safe social distancing as an alternative to crowded subways and buses. Bravo, Paris, on your wise efforts to ease pandemic restrictions in the best possible conditions. May the citizens of your magnificent city thus feel evermore relaxed and invigorated, in Divine upliftment.Caring neighbors support elderly Bolivians during pandemic. Founded in 2017, the 33-acre facility currently houses approximately 150 animals, including horses, pigs, donkeys, goats, chickens and ducks. Notably, the safe haven was converted from a former slaughterhouse by founder Erin Yanz, who loved “the idea of turning it around, and making it a positive place.” In the same spirit, Ms. Yanz, a vegan, urges people to use the current outbreak-induced meat shortage as the “best opportunity to make some easy choices,” citing that recipes for plant-based meat substitutes are easily available online. In a statement published on July 1, Mongolia’s National Center for Zoonotic Disease (NCZD) confirmed that a 27-year-old man and his 16-year-old brother from the Tsetseg District of Khovd Province have been infected with the lethal bubonic disease after consuming marmots. The disease, which was responsible for an estimated 25 million deaths in 14th-century Europe, has never disappeared, infecting around 2,000 people globally each year. To curb the risk of spread, Mongolia has locked down the districts of Jargalant and Tsetseg, near the country’s borders with Russia and China. Vehicles are temporarily banned from entering and exiting the regions. Currently, NCZD has conducted tests on the patients’ 146 direct contacts, while tracing 504 secondary contacts. Our respectful gratitude for taking swift and wise actions to safeguard public health, Mongolia. Our prayers are with the two patients and all affected. In “Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Urgent Call to Pray for World Vegan in Order to Rescue Our World” that was aired live on February 6, 2020, our Beloved Master caringly warned us about the dangers if we do not end animal suffering and change to the compassionate, vegan way of life. Social media giant Facebook recently announced that it will build a 37,000-kilometer undersea cable from Europe to Africa with the help of a consortium of companies. To be constructed by leading cable systems provider Alcatel Submarine Networks, headquartered in France, the cable will circle the whole continent, and link 23 nations from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Once installed, it will supply almost three times more bandwidth than Africa currently has via undersea cables, and will be made from aluminum, rather than the commonly used copper, to help augment network capacity. Many thanks, Facebook and partners, for helping to bring faster internet speeds to more individuals around the world. May your project proceed smoothly and may the people of Africa be blessed with a prosperous and interconnected future.Fifteen-year-old Indian girl cycles 1,200 kilometers to bring her injured father home.Jyoti Kumari transported her father from Gurgaon in Haryana State back to their village in Darbhanga District in Bihar State, India, after he lost his job as an electric rickshaw driver due to the pandemic lockdown, and also sustained a leg injury. Ohio Governor the Honorable Mike DeWine announced that 707 active bald eagle nests were sighted in the state’s 85 counties this year, which is more than double what was reported in 2019. As part of its efforts to reverse the species’ declining population, Ohio has made it illegal to disturb the bald eagles, with the public having to stay at least 100 meters away from a nest or an eagle. Furthermore, nationwide measures such as habitat protection under the Endangered Species Act and the ban on the poisonous insecticide DDT have also contributed significantly to the recovery. These trees, which include mahogany and Brazil nut trees, are visible far above the canopy, grow fast, and live for centuries. The study analyzed 30 years’ worth of data collected from a tropical rainforest in Panama. Key traits of the trees were integrated into climate change models, giving insight into carbon storage. Representing about 40% of the forest’s biomass, the long-lived pioneers are important absorbers of carbon, thus helping to mitigate the climate crisis. Our sincere appreciation, Dr. Nadja Rüger and international scientists. We pray for God to shield the majestic trees and forests, whose presence is a tremendous blessing to our planet.Australian industrial designer creates ventilators for developing countries. With the high global demand for ventilators amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Sam Canning of Griffith University has developed a low-tech medical ventilator using commonly found items, such as bicycle wheels and a flexible plastic bucket. Designed to be easily powered by hand, pedal power from a bicycle, or a small motor like a ceiling fan, the ventilator features rotating paddles that squeeze the bucket to pump air through one-way valves. The total cost of the unit is approximately US$130. Dr. Canning plans to offer his final design free of charge, saying, “I would be absolutely overwhelmed if it even helped just one person. I would be overjoyed.” Our heartfelt applause, Dr. Sam Canning. In the Divine’s benevolence, may your innovative development soon become widely available where it is needed most to help save lives.Coming up, a growing number of Americans reflect on the ethical issues of meat consumption amid pandemic. The government of Denmark donated a further US$4.8 million to urgently address the pandemic in vulnerable areas of the country. In particular, approximately US$3.4 million will be used to improve health systems for level two and three hospitals. The remaining funding focuses on water and sanitation enhancements in high-risk coronavirus areas, which include Kilifi, Kwale, Mombasa, and Nairobi counties, with a goal of benefitting 120,000 people. This new donation comes in addition to the US$3.2 million pledged by Denmark through the World Bank in April 2020 for the same endeavor. Our heartfelt gratitude and Divine blessings, Denmark! May we extend our loving-kindness to all beings on Earth by being vegan to redeem our sainthood as God’s children, in Heaven’s boundless mercy.Iran passes legislation to safeguard children and adolescents. His Excellency Dr. Hassan Rouhani ordered the nation’s legislators to hasten the study and ratification of an 11-year-old protection bill, after fourteen-year-old Romina Ashrafi unfortunately suffered as one of the victims of a so-called “honor killing” at the hands of her father and died. After the young girl fled her home with a man her father did not approve her marrying, Romina was found and returned to her home by the police. Her father confessed to the murder and was arrested. Social media experienced an outpouring of love and support for Romina Ashrafi and outrage at the brutal crime. Since His Excellency’s call for stricter measures, Iran passed a law on June 7, 2020 to protect children and teenagers from violence. Our immense gratitude, Your Excellency Dr. Hassan Rouhani and Iran for compassionately acting to ensure the protection and care of the gentle Iranian youth. We’ll be right back, with more meaningful news on Supreme Master Television.Hi happy friends, it’s Kinzley the vegan Golden-crowned Kinglet! Get your energy directly from the sun through plants. You will feel the difference. Try it; it’s the sustainable way. Be vegan! Here is a tip for you on how to adjust the size of a used cardboard box. For example, if you have a box that is not long enough for your item, then you can extend the length of it. First, draw a line up the center of the lids on the short sides of the box. Next, cut the tape at the bottom of the box, and also draw a line up the center of the short flaps on the bottom. Then, cut the short flaps on the top and bottom along the drawn lines. Finally, adjust the box by extending half of the width to the long sides, so that the length of the box becomes longer. Fold over the flaps and tape the bottom to give you a new size box to use. By doing this, we can save trees and other resources. Big love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around our beautiful globe.European Space Agency joins with French company to monitor worldwide methane emissions. France-headquartered energy research startup Kayrros is using data from the European Space Agency’s satellites to map global methane emissions. It will be the first time in the world that such detailed data on the gas will be available. The tracking technology has already shown that there are around 100 high-volume methane leaks across the planet, emitting 20 million metric tons of the gas per year. Half of them are in areas of oil, gas and coal mining as well as other heavy industries. Thank you, Kayrros and European Space Agency, for helping to quantify and locate the large amount of methane being emitted each year. In God’s radiance, may the transition to renewable energy and a vegan world quickly move forward as we strive to protect the Earth and all her inhabitants.Canadian city supports homeless individuals during the coronavirus pandemic. After examining the design of a commercially available mask, Ms. Das put her sewing skills to work using leftover cotton material, and began moving towards her goal of making 2,000 masks. Sourav then came up with a safe way to distribute the masks. He created dispensing stations out of cardboard boxes, posting that the masks were free. In the grace of the Providence, we pray that all nations will soon implement bans on the eating of all animals as we grow closer to living in loving harmony.Time to ease our minds with some light humor. Here’s the joke of the day entitled “New Companion.”Steve, a lonely bachelor, wanted some company, so he adopted a caterpillar as his companion and gave him a box to live in. That afternoon, he decided to go out. “Want to grab a coffee?” he asked the caterpillar, but there was no answer from the box. A few minutes later, he asked again – still no reply. Finally, he hollered: “Hey! Do you want to get a coffee?”“I heard you the first time!” said a small, exasperated voice. “I’m putting on my shoes!”And now we have a heartline from Anni in Hungary: Anytime I can watch Supreme Master TV programs, I am so elated! It radiates the goodness and kindness which is so needed in our world. I’d like to tell you a story about my dear turtle ladies. Years ago, I adopted three Red-eared sliders. By name, they are Henrietta (the calmest), Julia (the smallest, but liveliest) and Aranka (the biggest, her right front paw missing). They are not youngsters, all of them are older than 20 years. I do my best to give them good care. Two to three years before I started the Convenient Method, I thought it would be great if they were vegan, diminishing our karmic burden. After consulting an expert, we were advised to try one of the vegan cat food types. I did not feel it was fair to force my diet on them, so one day with my mom, (she’s also initiated) we sat down meditating. In meditation, we asked the turtles, one by one. They were open, and all of them said yes! Henrietta added that she would feel better knowing her food did not cause the suffering of other animals. Then we offered them the vegan food that we let soak for a while to make it less hard. They were eating it up happily and very quickly. We were watching them closely for weeks and months in case the new food caused health issues. Luckily, they are doing fine! They are healthy and lay dozens of eggs each summer. When I was younger, I thought turtles were so ungainly, and after I brought Henrietta home, I had no idea how to take care of them properly. But through the years, we came to love them very much; they became family. I think there is deep wisdom inside these ancient creatures. Sadly, some people want to destroy these turtles as they are not indigenous. My great plan is to build a sanctuary where the unwanted turtles find a safe and happy home, where they get the care and love they deserve. This was my little story. I want to thank Supreme Master TV for sharing and spreading the message of love and tolerance towards our animal Brothers and Sisters! I wish the Supreme Master TV team and Master Ching Hai days full of blessings, and a lot of strength to help further the good work! Have a happy day! Blessings and Love: Anni from Kaposvar, HungaryCompassionate Anni, Many thanks for sharing your feelings of delight when watching Supreme Master Television. May God bless you and all those giving sanctuary to our animal friends in times of need. Wishing you and pleasant Hungary peace and prosperity, Supreme Master TV teamP.S. Master also says: “Tender-hearted Anni, thank you, love, for your kind wishes, and taking care of and introducing us to your gentle turtle ladies. They are so adorable and wise to be vegan!
