Ingredients: (Serves 2)
- Warm water
- 300 grams egusi seeds, grind
- 15 grams ginger, grind
- 1.5 grams black chili pepper, grind
- 20 grams Scotch bonnet pepper, grind
- 25 grams onion, grind
- Vegetarian protein meat
- Peppercorns
- Salt
- 1 Maggi seasoning cube
- Banana leaves (for steaming)

Directions:
- Pour some warm water into the bowl.
- Add the egusi, ginger, black chili pepper, Scotch bonnet pepper, and onions. Mix well.
- Add some salt, and Maggi seasoning cube. Mix well.
- Wrap the Egusi Pudding in the banana leaves; tie it firmly with a string.
- Add water to the pot. Bring to boil. Add the Egusi cake, cook about 2 ½ hours.
- Turn off the heat. Take out the cooked Egusi cake.
Garnishing:
- Unwrap the Egusi cake, cut into the small pieces.
- Serve with a yam or a tuber.
