US First Lady says the president quit smoking for his daughters. Inspired by world leaders’ interest in her well-known White House vegetable garden, First Lady Michelle Obama announced that she intends to bring her “Let’s Move” anti-childhood obesity campaign wherever she travels. The First Lady also shared her pride at being able to say that her husband, US President Barack Obama, has been smoke-free for about a year now. She went on to say that a big motivation for his quitting the harmful habit was to set a good example and be able to honestly say “no” to questions about smoking from his two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

Our respectful congratulations, Your Excellency, for your winning achievement to be smoke-free and hats off, First Lady Obama, for your successful endeavors to promote the wellbeing of children. May governments worldwide be motivated toward policies that similarly encourage the vibrant health all citizens.
