She put her hands up and I put my hands up next to hers, and it was like a mirror. American minister and former business manager Reverend Anne LaTour shares how Lord Jesus (vegetarian) took her to the Garden of Eden, where she had an encounter with Eve.

Anne grew up in a religious Christian home. From ages 9–12, she repeatedly woke at night seeing demons and visions of hell through what felt like an open portal beside her bed. I’d be faced towards the wall, and I would open my eyes and I would literally see hell. Like, I saw demons, I saw fire, and it would freak me out. And I remember during that time, I had such a deep love for Jesus. I remember going to sleep telling Jesus how much I loved Him. I mean I would just be like, “Jesus, I love You so much!” And I remember saying things like, “I miss You, Jesus.” Like, now I think back and it was like, you know, I really missed being in Heaven from 10 years prior. But then I would wake up in the middle of the night and I would see the demons, and I would see literally hell in the background of where those demons were, and they’re just like trying to get at me but they couldn’t.

Anne believes these visions were connected to traumatic experiences she endured at her Christian school, which she later discovered was opening demonic portals rather than Heavenly ones. I haven’t released my full story yet, but there has been some things that that happened to me as a child growing up in a Christian, quote-unquote “Christian” school, and I believe that is what led to the demonic portals and the things that I was seeing.

In 2013, adult Anne joined a church service trip to a remote Indonesian island. The group decided to jump off a cliff into the ocean. Despite her intuition telling her something was wrong, Anne followed the group. She hit the water hard— and broke her back, leaving her in excruciating pain. Three days after returning home, still in severe pain after surgery, Anne cried out to God.

I looked up at the reflection and I was like, “God this is too much. I know You won’t give us more than we can handle, but I think You have me mixed up with my twin sister— because I have a twin!— so I was like, “I think You gave me some of what she needs.” And I was like, “Lord, please, just please stop this. I can’t handle any more of this.” And He clearly spoke to me, and He said, “Anne, if you listen and you do what I say— you start telling your story, you write about this, and always give Me credit— you will be 100% free from pain for the rest of your life.” And I was like, “Done. Okay, Lord.” It was that moment that I drew closer to Him.

In 2018, after surrendering more of her life to God by ending toxic relationships, Anne’s supernatural experiences intensified dramatically. I was having crazy encounters with Jesus. There was one point where He came straight up really close to me, and I saw His face and just the glory. And all of a sudden, this sword came out of His mouth and it went like straight into me, and then it went down through me. And I could feel it in my body because I was sitting on the couch and my body was just vibrating, and then all of a sudden I was taken into the Garden of Eden. It was like I just knew it was the Garden of Eden, I just knew. And there was a tree. And He pulled a piece of fruit off the tree. And I remember the colors, it was so beautiful. I just knew it was Heaven. And even the tree itself looked beautiful. And He pulled it off the tree, and He looked at me, and He said, “Anne, just as My sons and daughters have fallen away from Me because of this fruit, you will help bring them back.” All of a sudden, then we were on a beach. There was ocean in front of us.

There on Heaven’s beach, Anne protested her assignment of bringing souls back to God. I remember I said, “How am I going to do that?” I remember saying that to Jesus, like, “I don’t know how that’s going to happen. I don’t know any scripture.” Because in my religious mindset, I was thinking I had to know the Bible back-to-front so I could maybe preach people back into Eden, I don’t know! And all of a sudden, what was like an air duct system, square, came dropping out of above me, it just came like, “boom, boom, boom”— it just unfolded and unfolded over me. And all of a sudden, it felt like this portal of download of Revelation was flowing into me, and I felt like my body was vibrating, I felt like my cells were vibrating, and I was like on fire. I think He said something like, “You’re receiving everything that you need right now.” And then that was it. Afterwards, I went back into prayer. He [Lord Jesus] told me to look at the scripture of Proverbs 31, and then shortly after He said, “I want you to start a ministry called Proverbs 31 Generation.” Anne read that chapter in the Bible and, with the spirit of revelation, discovered it’s not about a perfect household woman, but about the Bride of Christ— both men and women being prepared to be married to Lord Jesus. This became the foundation for her ministry.

In another encounter, Lord Jesus took Anne back to the Garden of Eden, and Eve stepped forward. All I could see was this light, and all of a sudden she stepped up out of this light. She was all frequencies and color. Like, she didn’t have the flesh suits like we have. She was just all different kinds of blues and purples and these frequencies moving. And it was like I just knew it was her. I asked Jesus, “Is that Eve?” And He’s like, “Yes.” And even her eyes weren’t like our eyes. She was like the perfect figure, no hair. She was just beautiful. What I was seeing and feeling was those frequencies of her connected directly to the heart of God. So now she was in God, in Jesus, in the Holy Spirit 100%, so she was emanating those frequencies of the heart of the Father, that I could feel that and my immediate reaction was, “She’s beautiful!”

The encounter was possibly related to Anne’s prayers and ministry, which involves asking God to redeem Eve’s original sin. The “court case” is, what I said is, “God, she [Eve] didn’t have free will. Satan took her free will. Therefore, on the basis that she was lied to and manipulated, everything that happened after her taking of the fruit should be undone.” Eve then said something surprising to Anne. She put her hands up and I put my hands up next to hers, and it was like a mirror. She said, “Thank you.” And I was like, “What are you saying thank you for? He did it all.” Because Jesus was next to me. I was like, “Thank Him.” And she’s like, “No, you redeemed me.” And I was like, “He redeemed you, His blood redeemed you.” And she said something like, “Most women hate me.” And it was like I could feel, even though she was all love and all everything God, I could feel that heaviness when she said, “Women hate me for what I’ve done. Mankind hates me for what I did. So I just want to say thank you.”

Anne believes Eve appeared in her glorified form— frequencies and Light rather than flesh— because this was humanity’s original state before the fall. She theorizes that when Adam and Eve sinned, shame caused them to clothe themselves with what became physical flesh. It says in Scripture that Jesus Christ had to come and become flesh and blood in order to redeem us from the flesh and blood. So, I believe honestly that when Adam and Eve, when they’ve sinned what happens is we immediately are overcome with shame, so we immediately in our mind, in our thoughts and our emotions, we immediately begin to think negative things, right? So as soon as they thought, “Oh no, we’ve messed up,” they then clothed themselves. So I believe that when we are redeemed back to the Garden, I believe that we won’t have these skin suits.

Anne attributes everything in her ministry to complete surrender to Lord Jesus. After her healing, she progressively surrendered her health, her possessions, her relationships, and ultimately everything to God. “When your hands are full of things, you can’t put anything in it. And if your hands are full of things that God does not have planned for you, and you mix that with what God has planned for you, well then you could end up destroying what He has planned for you. So there’s a huge step in when we obey and fully surrender.”

Anne emphasizes that surrender isn’t a one-time event but a daily process of releasing even small things. It’s not, “Oh, I would die for anybody,” or “I would die for You, God.” There’s things in our life that we have to really go deep down on and think, like, “What is it that I haven’t surrendered? Is it my cup of coffee in the morning? Is it the chapstick I use, the lip gloss I use, have I surrendered that to the Lord?” Anne says that by surrendering even the smallest choices to God, the enemy has nothing left to grab onto, because it’s all already in God’s most capable hands.
