Pampacorral, Cusco has been designated as a conservation area. In addition, the Ministry of Environment of Sernanp has given official approval to the formation of the Imperial City: Qosqoccahuarina.

This is an area of 1,827 hectares belonging to the Peasant Community of Sondormayo Rumira, situated in the district of Ollantaytambo, Urubamba. It contains glaciers, forests, and grasslands, as well as a broad range of vegetation.

Furthermore, numerous species of birds, including those which are indigenous to the locality and endangered, live here. The region is also home to a variety of animal co-inhabitants such as the rare Andean cat and the herbivorous Andean deer.

Congratulations, Peru, for adopting these significant measures. May your beautiful land and the incredible wildlife she supports, continue to flourish for eons to come.
