I’m curious about how she manages all of these things, and does them so well? “So, with the vegan diet, I usually have like it planned out the day. So, I normally have a schedule that I stick to every day so that it doesn’t get overwhelming. So, with the vegan diet, your recovery time from injuries or muscle soreness takes much less time than if you’re eating animal proteins and an animal-based diet. And also a vegan diet really builds up your strength.” Since gymnastics is a very intense sport, how does Eshiana keep herself calm and focused? Dose she have a secret? “A lot of the time, I can get really overwhelmed and so meditation is a great way for me to chear my head and get into a better head space. One of my favorite things to do if a have extra time is, I love to read, write and draw.” Finally, Eshiana’s dad, Mr. Monk Coleman, would like to share with us something special that Eshiana drew when she was very young. “And I looked at it and I was blown away because she was only six or seven years old when she did this. And it was like a how you should live. It was a roadmap to how you should live, to live a happy, healthy, compassionate life. But this is it right here.”
